Character Creation: Species - Orc

"A seventeen," Anthony announced, holding up the result for Stephanie to see.  "That's gonna make you annnn orc.  Wow, well, you're definitely mean enough to fit in with that crowd.  I guess now you'll look more the part though!" 

Stephanie was still reeling from the impossible bulge that was now jutting obscenely from where her vagina had been a moment ago.  She looked up at Anthony with a mixture of fury, shock, and fear.  "What the fuck are you babbling about you-you," she stammered, having barely heard what he'd said, and even then not knowing what the hell he was talking about.  "What the flying fuck is an orc?"  Then all of a sudden, a tremor spread from her core out through her body, to every limb.  Stephanie reeled slightly, managing to barely keep her balance.  Her entire body was tingling, as if on the brink of some cataclysmic change.  And then she bent over from the waist, letting out a grunt of discomfort, as her muscles simultaneously felt as if they were tightening, packing in to become denser and denser, while also expanding out in bursts.  Her clothes felt tighter by the moment all over her body, not least of all around her new package, which was already causing her discomfort by its location in pants which has no accommodation for such things. 

And then, when she felt as if she couldn't stand the feeling a moment longer, the sense of tightening and expansion ceased.  Stephanie stood up again, yet felt as though it was difficult to go past something of a slouch.  She scarcely had time to think about this before she caught sight of one of her arms, which was now a sickly yellow-green color.  "W-what is...why is my skin green?!"  Her fingernails now came to sharp points, like talons on the end of each digit.  Her eyes glanced downward, feeling sick again as she saw how obscenely her groin was bulging out.  But past that her formerly lithe, toned legs were now rippling with muscle, clearly barely contained within her straining pants.  "What's happening to my...body?"  She looked up at Anthony, who looked both shocked and amused by what was happening to her.  "What are you turning me into you monster?!" she said, and was surprised at what normally might have come out as a shrill scream now sounded somewhat deeper, more bellowing.  Her hand went to her throat in shock.  "Oh god my voice," she growled out.  It wasn't masculine, but now certainly had a deeper timbre to it, sounded more aggressive, almost growling at time. 

"Wow," Anthony said with a grin.  "Yeah I'd say you're plenty proficient in Intimidation.  Comes naturally with being an orc.  As do those nice new pearly whites.  You know, I never really gave much thought to how an orc would brush their teeth..." 

Stephanie's eyes widened and instinctively looked down her face, and gasped upon seeing two long sharp tusks of teeth jutting out from her jaw.  She grabbed at her face, flabbergasted by the absurd reality of the new landscape of it.  Her jaw felt as if it was perpetually jutted somewhat forward, and she was horrified as her hands traveled upward, feeling a new brow that jutted out, then receded, giving her head a more ape-like shape. 

"Maybe you'll like the next roll more," Anthony said lazily, tossing a die up in the air.  It's not quite as extreme as this one, but a little bit of a subtler touch..."

This continuation was again funded generously by   Thanks very much for keeping the story going!  I'm experimenting with format a bit, because the single speech bubble of the others has started to feel inadequate to convey changes, especially more complex ones like this.  So I added in a narrative to accompany the picture.  I might go and add the same to previous entries to keep consistent.  I may excise the speech bubbles entirely to streamline it.  We'll see. 

I also went through a couple versions of this one, the first keeping her less muscular and stooped, but as I was thinking about it, the lines between orc, half-orc, and human as a spectrum get kind of blurry, especially when people design female characters.  If I didn't do some fairly obvious changes aside from skin and face, she could very well be a half-orc, so I went kind of all in.  Her musculature may change when we later roll for strength, but for now I really wanted there to be some contrast to show how much of a change there's been. 

I've been going back and forth a bit on the next option, that of Race, which I mean in the sense that people normally use it.  Black, white, hispanic, Asian, Middle eastern, etc.  Some versions of D&D have orc subraces, but they seem largely more about where those orcs live and what they do than any visual difference that would be interesting.  But as Stephanie is now, even as an orc, she still has predominantly Caucasian features, and hey, she could turn into an orc of any number of racial backgrounds, so I'm going to do that.  Here are the potential options.

4. Hispanic
5. Middle-eastern
6. Native American
7. Pacific Islander
8. South Asian
